MOTHER'S DAY

Because Oscar was born the night before Mother's Day and at home, we were able to wake up that morning and enjoy the day together as a family. Henry meeting Oscar for the first time was such a special moment that I will cherish forever. Everyone came round for a glass of bubbly and i was treated to a few pressies from Henry.
They say it is important that your toddler doesnt come in to find you holding the newborn so I made sure I had Oscar settled in his bed first before they brought Henry up.  It meant that I had my hands free to give Henry loads of cuddles first although he was far more interested in meeting his baby brother.
We then shared a little moment cuddling him together and I was able to talk to him about all the things they were gonna be able to do together and how important his job is as big brother. He took it very seriously and instantly was very overprotective of Oscar.

He insisted on having a cuddle before Nanna and RaRa.
