DIY// HOW TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO WOOD //

So its our lovely friends wedding coming up and I wanted to make something unique for them.
I had found some lovely pictures on their facebook pages so decided to print these onto wood. I used a similar technique in my art class when i was about 16 but hadnt done it for ages. It took me a few goes, and trawling around internet to see what products people could recommend. Jump to the end for our how-to video.

What you will need:

- some spare Avery label backing sheets
- a piece of wood
- a paintbrush (soft preferrably or a roller)
- Liquitex Matte Gel
- Elmer's School Glue
- Crystal Clear Sealant (you want a non yellowing one)
- an inkjet printer (NOTE: THIS ONLY WORKS WITH INKJETS - NO LASER PRINTERS)
- a hairdryer
