Ahh As I started writing this post I realised that this could be a long one. Mainly because there was soo much buildup to the BIG Day, exactly 10 months of pure unadulterated stress. I kept trying to remind myself that everything would work out fine, but I am a perfectionist and I went in heavy on the detail.
Hell you only get married once (hopefully) and I wanted a day that was memorable, special and meaningful. I never really considered myself a theme kinda girl. In fact I hate themed parties and find them cheesy, but we came up with the idea of 2 peas in a pod.
Here are a few image of our invites. I saved money by doing these myself but probably would have gotten a nicer print finish if I had used professional printers.
I had put a lot of late night hours into the invites and Will knew this so he sweetly got them framed beautifully in oak. When I arrived at my hotel room the night before - they were there sitting on the bed for me. (eek - makes me soppy thinking about it)
If I could give any bride any advice. It would be to take a deep breath and take it all in. The day goes by so quickly! There were so many people I didnt even get to talk to it went by so quickly. If I could do it all over again i would spread the celebrations over 3 days. : )
