ALBUM OF THE WEEK // HUNDRED WATERS 'THE MOON RANG LIKE A BELL'

So like I said. I wouldn't call myself a music expert by any sort of the imagination but what I will do is recommend any music that I hear. Everyone is always asking me about new tunes so I thought I would share them.

Hundred Waters, an experimental band hailing from LA, have just released their debut album on Skrillex's OWSLA imprint. I know I was taken back when I heard that - you will be too once you play the preview below. Definitely not a sound I would associate with Skrillex.

Their album 'The Moon Rang Like A Bell' came out on 24th May and I have been playing it on repeat ever since. It's one of those albums where each track blends perfectly into the other. The album has this dark, mysterious vibe to it, one that makes you analyse and over think the lyrics. Singer Nicole Miglis is responsible for the band's fluid and poetic lyrics, and instrumentals are courtesy of multi-instrumentalist Trayer Tryon, multi-instrumentalist, Paul Giese and drummer Zach Tetreault.
