LIFE // THINGS BEEN A BIT BUSY

Wow. its been almost a month since my last post, shame on me! But in my defence, things have been ridiculously busy with work - a month full of shooting, tons of exciting meetings, a husband that travels like crazy and a 2.5 year old at home with a house to manage - which doesn't leave me much time to write on here. I have also been frantically getting prepared to launch a new online store concept with full details coming soon, and can't wait to share with you.

Here is a little peak into my month without sharing too much on my projects. I have also been busy doing some DIY so will post these a bit later this week.

So Henry and I took off to the wonderful south coast to watch my gorgeous friend Ana marry the love of her life James.

It was then straight back into the car and off we jetted up the A356 to Bristol Airport to catch a flight to Ibiza to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary, via a little detour to Sharpham park to drop the little prince with his grandparents for the weekend. Yay! a child free weekend! the first time I had ever been away from Henry for more than 24 hours.

We ate loads of lovely food, and partied to the wee hours in the morning, spent some time in Formentera, caught up with old friends and made some beautiful new ones, and managed to sneak in a monday afternoon trip to DC10 before the airport.

Then.. weekend after it was Glastonbury - I would have done a post about this but my memory card failed on me and somehow managed to lose all my pics. There's always next year. Sometimes memories are best kept unshared. :) I did however get a few with my phone.

yep died my hair peach for the occassion. won't be doing that again i dont think. Although will highly reccomend the products from Bleach London - available at Boots. Really easy to use and last only 2-3 days depending on how much you wash your hair. 2-3 days being enough for moi.

Brother-in-law had a bottletop stand going this year. Henry took great pleasure from re-arranging the displays. :)

yep whats Glastonbury without a little mud. To be honest, bringing kids into Glastonbury is not the easiest thing to do but oh so much fun.

Its then been a busy week of shooting, lookbooks and ediand unfortunately cant share too much due to exclusivity but here are a few behind the scenes shots from some recent work I did on location at Weston Rocks. Incredible location but the elements were against us. was incredibly hot, the tides moved incredibly fast and the wind blew like crazy. cant wait to share the editorial with you once published.

Hope you have all had a lovely summer so far for those in the northern hemisphere. I will be posting some DIY posts over the next week. For now - i am gonna pack frantically as leave for Barcelona in a few hours time. More to come on that as well.
