When I was sent these amazing pieces by knitwear designer Yakshi Malhotra I just knew I was going to swoon over them. And yes it was love at first sight.
Firstly, the sheer weight of these beautiful jumpers just makes you want to hug yourself. The way that the extra long sleeves give this amazing silhouette and droop like heavy curtains on your arms. The chunky textures and beautifully created ribs are just what I want from a jumper. Forget the days of a simple knit cardigan, its all about the chunk. Also I love that she uses cotton in some of her designs. I sometimes find wool a little too warm and the cotton is just so delightfully soft.
So if you are on the lookout for a wonderfully cozy and fashionable knit to see you through the rest of our winter days then look no further than Yakshi Malhotra.
She is now having an awesome sale with over 60% off on some of the items so head on over to www.yakshimalhotra.com and grab yourself a bargain!
I already have my eye on a few of her Spring 2016 pieces too... ooooh !
This Orange crochet jumper is available on their online shop
Jumper would look great with a pair of high heeled boots, some black jeans and a denim shirt.

A bit about the designer:
Yakshi Malhotra had always wanted to be an artist. Originally from India, she moved to the UK at 17, to study knitwear design in Nottingham. During her time within the degree, she pursued a year of placements at McQ by Alexander McQueen, DKNY and Leutton Postle. Finding in this way her own artistic path, she established her namesake clothing label in late 2013.Focused in the creation of complex and compelling knitwear, Yakshi Malhotra reflects her love for textiles and craftsmanship with her lovely knitted pieces, made exclusively with high quality fibres using domestic machine and hand crafted techniques- think of crochet, hand knitting and embroidery.
Yakshi Malhotra revisits classic silhouettes through the combination of different textures, resulting in a sweet femininity contrasted by a slightly boyish influence.
Yakshi, believe me you are a true artist. All these stuff is awesome. Can we use these boots for working purpose? Your high heel boots are eye catchy.
